About Us

National Association for Rural Integration

To uplift the socio economic status of the poor communities through enrollment of all the children in formal schools to protect the children from all forms of exploitation.

During the fellowship period, the NARI secretary observed and studied several issues of poor communities. The NARI concept is initiated to stop the dangerous ill effects of child marriages and child labor in poor communities and conducted various programs to eradicate child labor practices ,child Exploitation, child Abuse and child marriage. Creating awareness on the importance matters to women SHGs and farmer SHGs such as skill training beneficiaries on finance literacy like Bank account opening, SHGs Accounts opening, Internal lending, Book keeping, Bank loans and interest rates, available Government subsidy schemes and rate of interest etc.,

Our Programs

APCNF Program ( ZBNF)

We are working with the objective of water conservation, productivity enhancement, decreasing cost of cultivation, marketing of their produce, protecting of soil health and environment. It is also promoting Mirror SHGs with the small & Marginal farmers. Link up with Women SHGs for credit linkage & Marketing the produces. Facilitating the farmers to promote innovative transfer technology like Sri Method, drum seed, poly crop cultivation, Millets cultivation and 360 days Green coverage in natural farming of P N Kandriga cluster of R C Puram Mandal, Chittoor district.

Farmer Producer Organization –FPO(NABARD)

FPO is working on productive enhancement techniques mulching, drip, shade nut cultivation and poly houses. FPO farmers are adopting and practicing Zero budget Natural farming cultivation for reducing the cost of cultivation. NGO is promoting collective marketing linkages to Rythu Bazar, Hotels, Apartments for marketing their products. Creating awareness on water conservation activities and supporting farmers in digging of Form Ponds, trenches, horticulture plantation and silt application with the convergence of MGNREGS. We mobilized 652 small & Marginal farmers into 62 Farmer Producers Groups-FPGS and promoted as FPO. FPO prepared a Business plan with support of NGO and submitted it to the NABARD and banks for implementing the business activity in the FPO.

Jalasakthi Abhiyan program

NGO is actively involved in Jalasakthi Abhiyan awareness campaign program along with NREGA, Irrigation Department and Panchathraj institutions in Anuppalli village of Ramachandrapuram Mandal which is identified as one of the most water stressed block in Chittoor District. The campaign aims to promote focused interventions for water collection and conservation, including restoration and renovation of traditional water bodies.

Agri Entrepreneur Development Program

Promoting Agri business activities with convergence of Syngenta Foundation and SERP identified active Agriculture based family background youth in rural area and promoted 41 Agri entrepreneurs in 16 FPOs. They are providing agricultural services and input procurement to the FPO farmers.

Horticulture Plantation & Bio Diversity program

With convergence of MGNREGA NARI promoted Horticulture and Avenue Plantation in 50 acres. NARI organized awareness programs for school children and farmers on need of Biodiversity conservation and Protection of Plants and Animals with support of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India, New Delhi. With the support of Horticulture Department we are organizing training for creating awareness on pruning of Mango orchards and pre productive cropping period.

Millet Revival Program

NARI identified the need for restoration of the millets and motivated farmers in Six panchayats of of Baireddypalli and ramachandrapuram mandals. With the support of ATMA, NARI provided 265 Kgs of millet seeds for 62 farmers cultivated in 90 acres.

Under Women Livelihood Promotion Initiative

We are promoting Jute Bag Making by women with Mutely Aided Cooperative Society of trained women for establishing marketing and linkages. NGO is empanelled with JUTE CORPORATION OF INDIA(JCI) for supplying of SRIVARI PRASADAM JUTE BAGS TO TTD and running Jute Bags manufacturing unit at Tirupati and provided employment to 35 women and men.

Rag Pickers Empowerment Program

We conducted Rag Pickers survey and awareness program at Tirupati with the support of MEPMA. We have identified 650 rag pickers in Tirupati slums. Created awareness on welfare schemes, health and sanitation.

NARI is working for protection of Child Rights & prevention of Early Child Marriages in Srikalahasti, Yerpedu, kvb puram and B N Kandriga mandals with the support of DKA Austria & Mahitha. Organized adolescent girl’s awareness camps on child marriages

Organized 16 work site schools at Brick industries with Orisha Migrant families of SC/ST. 623 children mobilized at Tirupati rural & Chandragiri Mandal of Chittoor district with the support of RVM and Aid at Action.

Mental Health Camps

Conducted KAP survey on Mental Health Stigma reduction to Care takers, Community members and Health workers on done with organized mental health camps for Stigma Reduction on mental illness with the support of PHFI & Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. 256 Mental ill patients was Identified.

Water and Sanitation

KAP Survey has been done on WASH access in Dalit Habitations in Srikalahasti, Thottambedu and KVB Puram Mandal . Organized State level Orientation training on Nirmal Bharath Abhiyan and National Rural Drinking Water Program with PRI members and NGO leaders at Tirupati, Chittoor district with the support of Water Aid, New Delhi.

Promotion of Farmer Clubs

NARI also promoted 10 Farmers clubs with the support of NABARD, provided technical training and Exposure visits to the farmers. We are also working on Millet revival program in Baireddipalli Mandal.

Skill Development Training

An additional arm of economic support, NARI provided skill development training to urban and rural women. We conducted activities like Arya work, Jute bags Making, Tailoring, Zari zardoshi and embroidery work to 800 SHG women with the support of NABARD, MEPMA, and National Jute Corporation in Chittoor District.

Promotion of CIGs

NARI promoted 52 CIGs with 609 women Artisans under AHVY program in pulicherla Mandal with the support of Ministry of Textiles Department of Handicrafts and conducted small and Large group discussions with women artisans, Skill upgradation & Technical trainings were given to the artisans on Zari zardhosi, Fabric painting, Mirror work, Appliqué & Patch works.
